Onward

It has been an amazing journey getting to learn new and exciting things as well as meeting new and exciting people. I'm always changing the way I approach a shoot and yet one thing is a constant: not only do I learn something about the client but I actually remember each and every one of them! As most of you know my client base are everyday people who want good photos taken without the high price tag that often comes with photos. I'm also a supporter of the LGBT community and allies. I'm also a supporter of Body Positivity. When you book me to do your session, I want you to be comfortable in the skin you're in. I never want a client to feel as if they aren't worthy to pose due to what society deems as "sexy." We all have something or another we may want or feel we can change about ourselves. But loving yourself and having the confidence to step outside of your comfort zone is a great path to freeing yourself ..and become a better version of yourself.

Potential clients ask me what does it feel like to work with someone I've never met. Some would say it's an odd question but not really. I'm a people person. I take time to get to know the client before we start shooting. When doing casual photos I try to make the client as comfortable as I can. We laugh and have a Q&A while in session. This helps all parties relax and not feel like they're under scrutiny of the lights and camera. I'm also often asked just how can I feel comfortable in a room with someone sans clothes or more to the point, what must they feel having me see them in their natural form. I figure I could just tell you something and that be it but instead I decided to reach out to past clients and have them tell you about their experiences posing. That was the inspiration for the "Behind the Lens" tab on the page. The page gives you the chance to go inside the client's mind and see what motivated them to pose--with or without clothes! It's a very personal thing for them to give their thoughts however they do it with a purpose in mind: to go against the grain and do what you feel and express yourself in an artistic way without prejudice. If you see an image that you would like to know more about the client, send me a message or email(click on the Contact Me tab). I'll get with the client and who knows I could possibly feature them in a future Behind the Lens bio.

Stay safe guys and I hope to hear from you soon.
